Q1.Using Chipsizer on Solaris.
A: UMC Chipsizer does work with Netscape running under Sun Solaris.
     In addition to your J2SDK installation, please use the following
     procedures to complete the plug-in setup:

     a. You need to know where the J2SDK is installed on your workstation.
         For example, you might install the J2SDK under /usr/j2se
     b. After you confirm the location of your J2SDK directory, add the
         following line in your .cshrc file (if you are using C shell):
         setenv NPX_PLUGIN_PATH /usr/j2se/jre/plugin/sparc
     c. Then, logoff and log back in to your workstation to start the Netscape
          and the new plug-in should start to take effect from now.

Q2.Using Chipsizer on MS windows series.
A:  Basically, Chipsizer system can detect your local java environment, and
automatically download java runtime with your instruction when you click on
LOGIN button. If you still have problem to install java runtime, please refer
to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/ (English version) for further information.
After you download java runtime, you have to install it on your computer and
reboot your computer. You can use Chipsizer after you do that.

Q3.Unable to download Chipsizer.
A:  There are two reasons which might cause this problem,
   1) Browser security setting:
    For all browser, you need to open java running privilege for internet
    access under your consideration. (Please check this item FIRST.)
   2) Failed to install java runtime:
    We suggest you to remove your previous java runtime installation from windows
    control panel (add/remove service). Then try to install Java run time
 jre1.3.1_01 (or above) again through Sun's web site. http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/

Q4.Didn't receive account information after registration.
A:  Please use Chipsizer home page to reset your password, then system
will send you a new account information. However, you have to remember the
original registered email address.

Q5.Forgot password or username.
A: On home page, there is a link for retrieving password. You will receive
a new password through email. Then, you can enter Chipsizer system to change
your password.
